Laird, Nyal Ernest (73)
On April 13, 2018 our beloved Ernie went to be with the Lord following a brief illness.
Born to Nyal B. and Wilma L. Laird in Red Oak, IA. 8/16/1944. He moved to Illinois at age 10; attended school; married his wife, Karon in 1963; earned a BS of Earth Science in 1968; worked 17 years for DeKalb Hybrid Seed Corn Co (Pfizer) before moving to Ohio then Canandaigua, NY in 1972 with DeKalb. In 1986 they moved to Palm Harbor, Fl. His greatest pleasures were his family; being a friend to all and a handyman to many; golf with his friends; being an active member of PHUMC, chancel choir and Harbortones. He leaves behind his wife of 55 years, Karon, son Nyal James (Anita), brother Burton (Bonnie),sister Sandra (Kevin) and seven amazing grand children. Predeceased by his parents, brother Dale, son Ronald Ernest, grandson Nyal Andrew. He will be so greatly missed by all.

There will be a Celebration of Life Service for Nyal Laird at Palm Harbor United Methodist Church on Saturday April 21, 2018 at 1:30pm.
