Born to Morris Blumenthal and Margaret Loveman Blumenthal, February 7, 1933 in Birmingham, Alabama. Morris served with distinction in the US Army tank corps. Upon discharge, he joined his brother in business. The years to come were tough, and eventually Morris, with the help of his wife Jerri, succeeded.
Morris and Jerri’s family grew to include sons David and Dann. Daughter Leigh Ann came a few years later. Grandchildren include Catherine (Jamie) Cato, Andrew Blumenthal, Jena (Chad) Vacarella, Alexandra Blumenthal, Trenton Blumenthal, Benjamin and Harrison Tomlin, as well as great-grandson Carter Cato.
Through all of the ups and downs of life, Morris, Jerri and family worked together and loved each other deeply. Morris was blessed with a strong family, and led them to success. Morris is preceded in death by his parents, Morris and Margaret.
His accomplishments are many, as are his friends and admirers. His greatest accomplishment is his loving, large family.
