John Kelly, age 22, beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. John was born in St. Petersburg, Florida on May 9th, 1995. John grew up in Dunedin, Florida and attended St. Cecelia Catholic School, Palm Harbor University High School medical program, and was currently attending USF Tampa. He played football and lacrosse for Palm Harbor University Hurricanes. Affectionately known by his friends as “Big John,” he was one of the kindest souls you would ever meet. John would not hurt a fly, and would go out of his way to keep others happy. John loved video games, computers, and football, especially his New England Patriots. John will be remembered for his radiant personality, sense of humor, and ability to light up a room. Everyone who knew him would tell you he was the nicest guy they knew. Johnny, the gentle giant, may you rest in eternal peace.
John is survived by his parents, Steve and Karen, sister, Megan, as well as several grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Calling hours will be held from 3pm to 6pm, service at 6 pm, Monday, Dec. 4 at Curlew Hills Funeral Home.
